Did you know that Baltic amber led to the emergence of the international word “electricity” (the Greek word “elektron” (ήλεκτρον) means “amber”)?
In Nida, groups can enjoy a unique activity – Amber Energy Therapy (GET).
Participants will journey to the Amber Museum in Nida, where they’ll hear the 50-million-year-old history of amber formation, learn about types and colors of amber, and see impressive inclusions.
Later, participants will pass amber pieces hand-to-hand, experience the aroma of amber incense, and taste Amber extract. The therapy culminates in an unforgettable amber electric discharge (everyone joining hands in a circle), powered by possibly the world’s only amber electrical machine.
The price includes: visit to the Amber Museum, tour and activities, amber tasting, processing of your own piece of amber).
Note: For those interested in developing the amber theme, we organize various educational activities, such as ancient tool amber processing, amber fishing in the Baltic Sea, and more.
Information: Baltic gold, reaching Greece in ancient times (the Greek word “elektron” (ήλεκτρον) means “amber”), was valued not only for its beauty or medicinal properties – Greek scientists noticed amber’s ability to acquire an electrical charge and attract small particles, naming this property after amber. Meanwhile, the use of amber and amber acid is rapidly spreading in medicine, sparking various discussions.
