The adventure game “Public Secret” is best suited for a “strengthened” team where communication flows freely. Communication is the main driver of the game. It’s a team competition where teams influence each other’s strategy and actions.
Participants choose the game’s pace, movement trajectory, and method of obtaining results. Here, teamwork happens in a fun and creative way, with teams consisting of 3-5 people.
The goal of the game is for each team to answer 20 questions about the location where the action takes place. The winning team is the one that finds the most answers within the specified time and presents them first at the finish line. Teams are provided with radio communication stations through which they can contact the Central Headquarters and ask for hints or other necessary information.
Conversations via radio are heard by everyone, so teams must speak carefully, using only words known/understood by them and the Central Headquarters, to avoid revealing important information. On the other hand, nothing is hidden from the field, so a team that listens carefully to all sorts of chatter in the ether and reads between the lines can learn a lot about the answer.
After teams finish, the results are counted, and the best-performing team is awarded.
“Attention, think about what you’re talking about – Big Brother is watching you!”
